REFY; Redefining Beauty

The brand that everyone has wanted to try since the first product launch. Founded by the ever-so-gorgeous fashion and beauty influencer Jess Hunt, REFY was created to break boundaries within the beauty industry, encouraging everyone to be confident enough to celebrate themselves and embrace natural beauty. Coming from the queen of the bushy brow herself, there was a lot of expectation that came with these launches.

Innovation, simplicity and inclusivity are at the heart of the REFY brand. All of the versatile products have been meticulously designed to compliment all skin types and skin tones, allowing everyone to achieve professional makeup looks with ease.

I’ve never fully known how to do my brows, so when I was gifted the REFY Brow Collection, it took a lot of experimenting to figure out how the products work best for me. After following various Instagram tutorials and getting inspo from the one and only @jesshunt2 herself, I’ve finally found my groove with the products and can’t wait to share my thoughts.

The Brow Collection Kits are vegan, cruelty-free and available in three shades (light, medium and dark). Packaged in fully-recyclable packaging, these kits includes a pencil, brow sculpt and pomade for the ultimate 3-step brow routine.

I found the below order to work best for my brows, but these products are so multi-functional that you really can use whichever way works best for you…

REFY Brow Pencil, £14

A highly pigmented, ultra fine tip pencil for defined brow hair strokes. This double ended product comes with a built-in spool to brush and shape the brows, helping to blend the product out.

My Verdict: I found this pencil to be similar to the MAC I have previously used. I absolutely love the tiny-tip for definition and details. The built-in spoolie is super handy for brushing through product.

REFY Brow Pomade, £14

This pomade is a cream based formula to achieve a smooth application and a matte finish. With a specially designed angular brush, this product is ideal for building up the colour and coverage of your brows. Long lasting and smudge-proof, this all-in-one pomade will add depth to your brows.

My Verdict: I’ve never really been a brow pomade girl, but this product changed the game for me. It helps you to achieve fuller-looking brows and it’s buildable formula is great for top ups throughout the day.

REFY Brow Sculpt, £16

The best-selling brow sculpt was high-in-demand when released, selling out within minutes on launch day. To achieve the ultimate soap brow look, this sculpt allows you to shape and set hairs in place. The formula is a balance between wax and a gel, making it easy to apply but keeping hairs firmly in place. The sculpt comes with a double ended brush and comb to manage and control the product. Water resistant and flake free, this sculpt is formulated to keep those brows set until washed out.

My Verdict: I hate to admit it, but I was slightly disappointed with this star product. I found that personally, the formula wasn’t strong enough to hold my brows all day. I had the occasional flake lift from my brows too, which wasn’t cute. Overall, it’s super easy to use and is a great addition to your brow routine.
